Save File (“Save File” button)

 

The “Save File” button is used to save any text displayed in the main console text window to a file name and location you specify.

 

Clicking the “Save File” button will present a standard screen that is requesting you select or enter a file name for the file that will be created or overwritten to contain the text in the main console text window.

 

Browse through the drives and associated folders by clicking on the tree path displayed and then either ‘double-click’ the chosen file or highlight your selection and click ‘Open’ (to overwrite, or replace an existing file) or enter a new file name and click ‘Open’.

 

A new file will be saved containing the text from the main console text window (or an existing file will be replaced).
