'Right click' any file(s) or folder and click 'Send To' from within Explorer and QuickCrypto will directly Encrypt, Decrypt or Shred the selection, as your preferences require. See at a glance which files are encrypted, simply double click for automatic decryption (also needs the Pass Phrase to be known and entered of course!)
powerful, secure, full-strength encryption options using commercial and governmental encryption algorithms. Choose from Blowfish (448 bit), Advanced Encryption Standard (AES 256 bit) or Triple DES. an easy to use "Password Safe" is included. Keep all your Pass Phrases, Passwords, Credit Card and PIN details, together with associated Login and other information, securely locked away under one Pass Phrase. Hold all of your online and other passwords securely in one place on your PC within the Password Safe, which also provides easy link ability to connect you straight to associated web sites. You only have to remember one password to 'remember' them all! Even if your PC or laptop is stolen or used by others, no one can get your confidential details. The password safe can be configured to automatically close after 5 minutes of inactivity (helping to prevent inadvertent disclosure of passwords).
an in-built file wiper/shredder. Files can be "shredded" (securely wiped prior to deletion), completely eradicating any kind of file. Files to be shredded are completely destroyed and unrecoverable, unlike those that are simply deleted using standard Windows® features.
the capability to Hide Files, make files 'invisible' to Windows Explorer and all normal Windows software. Hiding files protects your private files, and with QuickCrypto you can encrypt and hide files for ultimate privacy and protection. Encrypting as well as hiding files ensures that even if files are found (which is unlikely) they cannot be viewed or used.
able to Hide Text in Images (Steganography). Hide normal or encrypted text within image (picture) files! QuickCrypto enables you to hide text in pictures so that only other users of QuickCrypto can retrieve and read the hidden secret messages. Once text is hidden in an image the saved picture is still a 'picture', it will load just like any other image and appear as it did before. The image can be saved, emailed, uploaded to the web etc, the only difference being it now contains hidden text (encrypted or not, the choice is yours).
the ability to create "Self Decrypting" encrypted email messages. The recipient of the email must know the Pass Phrase to decrypt and then read your text message, but they DO NOT need QuickCrypto on their PC.
its own version of Windows Explorer ™ , QuickCrypto Explorer, that is focussed on easily managing encrypted files and folders. Files, folders, sub folders, can quickly and easily be identified and processed from their encrypted to non encrypted (or vice versa) state. allows the original “source” file names to be encrypted and restored on decryption if desired (many encryption products leave the original file names readable). Encrypted file names can also be obscured (renamed) on a batch basis. This allows all files to be encrypted then even their filenames changed, so until decryption takes place, neither the file name nor its contents can be fathomed.
