Email and Text Message Encryption

Email Encryption

Encrypting email text ...

is an easy 4 stage process with QuickCrypto ...

(1)   Type in the Message to QuickCrypto,

(2)   Press 'Encrypt' button,

(3)   Enter a 'Pass Phrase' to lock the text (the Message is then Encrypted),

(4)   Click 'Send Email' button to allow your existing Email software to send email as normal.

Email messages will be completely unreadable or usable by anyone until they are decrypted. Decryption can only occur if the 'key' (the Pass Phrase) is known.

There is no need for the recipients of your encrypted emails to pay for QuickCrypto as Decryption of message text is FREE (they must know the Pass Phrase though!)

Why Encrypt Email Messages?

Perhaps you don't want all your intimate or personal communications to be readable by anyone.

A lot of us have sent personal emails at work and thought - "did I send that to the right person?", "can my boss read this (I really hope not)?".  The answer to that last one is yes of course he/she can if they choose or want to.

And email messages often hang around for a long time on dedicated, replica and archive data servers.

But, sometimes it's just plain fun - it harks back to the days when codes and cyphers between friends and family were done for the simple amusement it brings.

You may read about a lot of "serious" reasons from "serious" people why you as an individual should encrypt your emails. Well they have a point of course.

You wouldn't  want anyone to be able to read your correspondence (or you wouldn't need envelopes!), but we sometimes think others get a bit carried away, and charge far too much for products that are far too complicated.

So for the price of a book or a few beers, buy Quick Crypto, for an easy, quick and secure way to encrypt your email text (and files and passwords).

How do I know my email texts are safely and securely encrypted?

The encryption algorithms used by QuickCrypto are advanced, current and security industry proved (with QuickCrypto you have a choice from Blowfish, Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) or the Triple Data Encryption Standard (T-DES)).

These encryption techniques have been open to all security experts to examine for many years (peer review). QuickCrypto also includes proprietary techniques embedded within Blowfish for text encryption.  With all of these approaches you achieve very secure encryption of files and text messages.

However, a long involved pass phrase (extended password) for encryption is crucial for ultimate security.

Do you you need this? Well it's available with QuickCrypto if you do. But remember it's only hard-core geeks, gurus and intelligence agencies that have the interest and motivation to crack encryption.

Most people will have trouble guessing any Pass Phrase with letters and numbers. So as you're not James Bond (well we can pretend a bit I guess?) or Lara Croft, make sure you pick a Pass Phrase you can remember (and that your friends and colleagues will).

If you forget the relevant Password or Pass Phrase, you won't be able to decrypt your email text. Ever!
